This
candlelight sculpture originates from 1968 in connection with the
Fourth General Assembly of the World Council of Churches held in
Uppsala that year. The sculpture was designed by Olof Hellström and
constructed by Folke Mattsson.
It is the first candlelight sculpture in modern times to be found in
a Swedish church.
